First Holy Communion

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you so much for showing an interest for your children to prepare for their First Holy Communion. This is a very important step on their personal journey of faith and that of yourselves as parents when they will be invited by the priest to share in the celebration of Mass by receiving Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

For all Christians, First Holy Communion is a very significant step in developing their sense of being an active member of the Church and of our Holy Family Parish. For Catholics, being regularly part of our Congregation at Mass is an important way of showing children that we believe in God and that we belong to a visible Church,

For the Children at Holy Family School there will be an after school First Holy Communion Club. For children not attending Holy Family School a programme will be organised by St Anne’s RC Church in Chertsey.  (Please scroll down for the St Anne’s 2025  FHC application form link button below)
